The Big Lab

In May 2004, the new 80,638 sq. ft. Wallis Annenberg Building for Science Learning and Innovation opened. The new facility is characterized by its customized spaces designed specifically to promote science teaching and learning for all. The facility significantly increases opportunities for teacher professional development activity. Model environments for inquiry and exploration encourage the creation and discussion of cutting-edge science learning resources. The new facility includes:

  • 10 thematically designed classrooms
  • 2 laboratories
  • 3 prep rooms
  • 3 multipurpose rooms
  • 1 computer lab
