Cow Eye Dissection

 

Grades: 6 - 8

This 60 minute program includes all required materials, including the cow eye, dissecting tray and gloves. Students will work in pairs to dissect a cow eye. They will see the major structures of the eye and explore how they work together to produce images.

General Outline of Program:
- Welcome to the classroom lab and rules
- Discuss the parts of the eye
- Walkthrough cow eye dissection
- Wrap-up
