Discovery Lab Field Trips
Enhance your field trip with a Hands-On Experience
Bring your class for an exciting field trip program at the California Science Center! Led by an educator, your students will engage in fun, hands-on and interactive science activities. Programs focus on helping students to discover the world around them using investigative science skills to explore specific topics.

Discovery Lab Programs
Discovery Lab field trip activities can accommodate a class of up to 25 students. Each program lasts approximately 60 minutes.
Why Is Slime Ooey and Gooey?

Big Lab Programs
Big Lab field trip activities take place in our 32,000 square foot Big Lab next to the Discovery Lab classrooms, and can accommodate a class of up to 40 students. Big Lab programs last approximately 75 minutes.

Cost: $9 per student, minimum of 15 students
All programs require a $25 non-refundable deposit to confirm your scheduled date and time. The deposit is applied to the cost of your program. Programs include admission to the California Science Center.
