Bring your class for an exciting field trip program at the California Science Center! Led by an educator, your students will engage in fun, hands-on and interactive science activities. Programs focus on helping students to discover the world around them using investigative science skills to explore specific topics.

Grades Pre K-Kindergarten
Make your own slime as you investigate whether it's a solid or a liquid.
How Do Butterflies Get Their Wings?
Grades Pre K-Kindergarten
Learn about life cycles as you explore the amazing transformation that some animals undergo. Class available February 1 - June 30.
Cow Eye Dissection
Grades 6-8
Learn about the eye through a hands-on dissection. Click here for more information and standards addressed.
General Information
All classes last one hour. Plan on arriving at the California Science Center 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time to accommodate the short walk to the Wallis Annenberg Building.
Cost
$8 per student, minimum of 15 students
All programs require a $25 non-refundable deposit to confirm your scheduled date and time. The deposit is applied to the cost of your program. Programs include admission to the California Science Center
