Little Scientist's Lab Field Trips
Bring your kindergarten or preschool class for an exciting field trip program at the California Science Center! Led by an educator, your students will engage in fun, hands-on and interactive science activities and creative projects. Programs will focus on helping students to discover the world around them using investigative science skills to explore specific topics.
Registration for the 2009-2010 school year will begin in August.

Programs
Why Is Slime Ooey and Gooey?
Make your own slime as you investigate whether it's a solid or a liquid. Class available September 7 - January 31.
How Do Butterflies Get Their Wings?
Learn about life cycles as you explore the amazing transformation that some animals undergo. Class available February 1 - June 30.
General Information
All classes last one hour. Plan on arriving at the California Science Center 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time to accommodate the short walk to the Wallis Annenberg Building.
Cost
$7 per student
All programs require a $20 non-refundable deposit to confirm your scheduled date and time. The deposit is applied to the cost of your program. Programs include admission to the California Science Center
Dates: Thursdays and Fridays
Times: 9:30-10:30, 10:45-11:45, 12:00-1:00.
Booking Your Program
Call 213-744-2019 with your desired date and time, number of students and number of adults. All programs must be scheduled at least one week in advance.
$20 deposit is due within one week of booking your program. Upon receipt of the deposit, you will be mailed a confirmation letter and map of the grounds.
