Kindergarten Programs
Introduce your child to the exciting world of science with our Kindergarten programs! Children will explore and experience science with fun hands-on activities. All children enrolled in the Kindergarten programs must be entering Kindergarten in Fall 2011.
Children must be comfortable with a classroom environment and be able to stay without a parent or guardian for the 2 ½ hour class.

X marks the spot, me hearties, to uncover how yer ship stays a-float, yer gold stays a-shiny and how to navigate yer a-self using only yer wits and yer knowledge of astronomy. Science Explorers
Let’s go explore science! Ecosystems, polymers, kinetic energy…what on earth do these words mean? Learn all this and more as you investigate basic science concepts about everything under the sun. Campers will visit the California Science Center and conduct their own experiments in the Science Center’s Big Lab!

Sticky, Icky, Yucky
Oops, I sneezed! Discover and observe how chemicals react as you create all kinds of stinky, slimy and gooey blobs guaranteed to gross out your family and friends. Campers will make their very own Slime, Gak, and even some Oobleck!

Ants in Your Pants
Life in the desert can be tough, but these little critters are able to survive… and thrive! Learn all about desert bugs – their body parts, what they eat, and how they camouflage themselves. Check out their many legs and antennae under a microscope, and watch ladybugs in our Big Lab Bamboo Garden!
