Discovery Room

The Air & Space Gallery Discovery Room has been temporarily moved to the Creative World Discovery Room. Please visit the Creative World Discovery Room to enjoy the best of both worlds. In this themed environment, children (ages 7 and under) can explore hands-on activities that relate to air and space concepts. Children can pretend to be pilots on a shuttle or an airplane, explore the planets, and learn about the moon. Be sure to check out the Discovery Boxes for more open-ended learning and fun.

Discovery Rooms are designed for children 7 years of age and younger. All children are required to wear socks while enjoying the Discovery Room activities.

During peak hours and times we have a 20 minute rotation in our rooms. This allows for many of our younger guests to enjoy the rooms during operating hours.
