Advance tickets are highly recommended a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
America I AM: The African American Imprint tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. There are NO EXCHANGES allowed on America I AM tickets.
America I AM: The African American Imprint tickets are "timed tickets," valid only for specified admission date and time. A limited number of walk-up tickets may be available for sale at the box office the day of your visit. Advance ticket purchase online is strongly recommended.
It takes
an average of 2 hours to go though the exhibit.
Please note: Due to the high volume of visitors for America I AM, wait times may be 10-20 minutes after your printed ticket time.

Online ticket sales for Science Center Members coming soon! Please check back.
Science Center Members may purchase tickets in advance by calling (213) 744-2019. The $3 per ticket telephone service charge will be waived for Members until our online service is available. Member tickets can also be purchased at the Box Office. Please have your current Membercard available when purchasing tickets by telephone or at the Box Office.

Note: Discount exhibit tickets are available to Members of the California African American Museum and the Skirball Cultural Center when purchased in person at the California Science Center Box Office (online or telephone sales not available). Please present a current CAAM or Skirball membership card at the Box Office to receive the discount.
There are
three ways to purchase special exhibit tickets:
1. Online
Available 24 hours. There is a $2 per ticket service charge
on all online orders. Use the Print at Home* ticket feature
and your tickets will be emailed to you.

Please print your tickets immediately. They are not
available for printing after 48 hours. There will
be a $5.00 reprinting fee at the box office.
2. Telephone Sales
Telephone sales are available 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by calling (323) SCIENCE or (213) 744-2019.
There are no same day phone sales.
There is a $3 per ticket service charge on all telephone orders. There may be additional charges for delivery/shipping methods.
3. At California Science Center
Visit the California Science Center box office during regular museum hours—10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available on a first-come first-served basis. There is no guarantee that tickets will be available on the day of your visit. Advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged.

America I AM is being shown in conjunction with RACE: Are We So Different? and other related programs developed in collaboration with the California African American Museum and the Skirball Cultural Center to foster a greater understanding of the African American imprint and our shared human experience.

Tips For Your Trip
Reserve Your Time
America I AM tickets are timed and dated with entry at 60 minute intervals. You may stay in the exhibition as long as you like. A limited number of walk-up tickets may be available for sale at the box office on the day of your visit. Reserving your tickets will guarantee you a date and entry time.
Get Here Early—IMAX and Parking Information
Plan on arriving at least 30 minutes before exhibition entry time to allow plenty of time to park. Parking is $8 per car, $10 for buses or oversize vehicles (cash only). There will be NO EXCHANGES and all tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. Please plan accordingly.
If you reserve tickets over the phone, you will need to pick them up at the California Science Center’s Box Office will call window which could require additional wait time.
If you purchase your tickets online, you can print them at home and avoid the box office line — just go right to the exhibit entrance and present your ticket. We strongly recommend that you purchase your tickets online and print them out at home within 48 hours of purchase.
Plan Your Visit
Most visitors spend at least 1 hour visiting America I AM. There is no re-entry into the exhibition.
