Discovery Room

Come visit the World of Life Discovery Room, a special place for younger children to experience the wonders of life firsthand. Children can see all kinds of animals up close including spiders, lizards, hermit crabs, hissing cockroaches and even a legless lizard! And be sure to check out the Discovery Boxes for more hands-on learning and fun.

New Additions to the Discovery Room!
We added some wooden blocks and forest animals for you to have fun in our “Tree House”. Come see our new corn snake and the very active South American degu. But don’t forget to check out our legless lizard which looks like a snake but it is not!!

Horizontal Bar

Discovery Rooms are designed for children 7 years of age and younger. All guests are required to wear shoes or socks while enjoying the Discovery Room activities.

During peak times we have a 20 minute rotation in our rooms. This allows for many of our younger guests to enjoy the rooms during operating hours.
