Science Center Master Plan
The California Science Center is being developed under a 25-year, three-phase Master Plan, outlined below. Phase I was completed in 1998, and another significant milestone in the Master Plan was achieved in March 2010 with the opening of Ecosystems, the centerpiece of Phase II. Planning is underway to build a new Air and Space Center, the next major expansion to the Science Center and the feature component of Phase III of the Master Plan. The Air and Space Center will be the future home of Space Shuttle Orbiter Endeavour, inspiring current and future generations of innovators and explorers.
