Program Presenter
The Program Presenter is responsible for delivering high-quality, interactive science education programs for school groups and the general public in the exhibitions of the California Science Center. This position spends almost 100% of work time delivering programs.

Job Responsibilities:
- Present interactive educational programs for both small and large audiences on a daily basis, including evenings, weekends and holidays; one weekend work day is required;
- Track guest attendance numbers and surveys for all programming
- Present interactive workshops and demonstrations for additional programs such as Summer Camp, overnight events, and other special events
- Be responsible for maintenance of education programs by reporting materials, equipment, and safety needs to the appropriate supervisor
- Assist with training new staff and volunteers with education programs
Qualifications:
- College background in Science, education, theater, or related field preferred;
- Experience in teaching or working with the public in a museum, informal educational or public setting
- Effective interpersonal skills with diverse audiences
- Excellent customer service skills and team player
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish desirable
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes at least one weekend day per week, holidays and evenings
Salary:
$11.25 per hour
