The first step in getting a State job is to take a State exam for the classification (job title) in which you are interested.

  2. Current or former State employees and those with list elegibility can click here to search the vacant positions database for the California Science Center.
  3. Download a State exam application (Form 678), or fill-out an application online at the State Personel Board website. Applications should be mailed to:
