March 22		International Robot Sumo Wrestling Tournament. Autonomous and radio-controlled robots compete for top honors in this annual event.
March 26		A Rainforest Adventure: Bugs! in 3D opens at the IMAX Theater. Get a bug’s eye-view of the fascinating universe of insects, magnified up to 250,00 times their normal size!
April 3		The Changing Face of Women’s Health exhibit opens to the public. In this fascinating exhibit, visuals, video, art and interactive displays address a number of health issues universally experienced by women at every stage of life.
April 3		Women's Health Festival: Making Healthy Choices, a one-day festival, will feature celebrity guests, health experts, resource providers, performance artists and a host of health-related special activities geared toward inspiring women and their families to explore key health and well-being issues. Admission is free.
April 24-25		Blooming of the Roses Festival in Exposition Park’s Rose Garden. Each year, the Science Center along with other Park entities and neighborhood organizations, participates in the two-day festival with nature-themed programming.
May 15		Sixth Annual Discovery Ball, the Science Center’s fundraising gala. This year’s theme will celebrate the opening of the new Wallis Annenberg Building for Science Learning and Innovation, site of the Science Center School and Amgen Center for Science Learning.
May 24-25		2004 California State Science Fair welcomes more than 900 students from counties around the state. Public viewing of the projects is from May 24 from 3-5 p.m.
June 21-August 13		Hands-On Science Camp promises fun science learning on a big scale in the new Wallis Annenberg Building for Science Learning and Innovation. Themed classrooms and 32,000 sq. ft. of experiment space in The Big Lab make for a unique learning experience.
