BODY
WORLDS 2 Closes at the California Science Center
Concluding
its run at its first venue in the Western Hemisphere,
BODY WORLDS 2: The Anatomical Exhibition
of Real Human
Bodies closed
in the early morning hours of Monday, March 28, 2005.
The combined
total of
guests for BODY WORLDS and BODY WORLDS 2 exceeded 930,000
guests, making this exhibit pair the most successful
traveling exhibits ever displayed at the Science Center.
During the exhibit run, the Science Center hosted
its 10 millionth visitor since opening in 1998another
landmark achievement.
Our
next traveling exhibit, Science
in Toyland, will be on
display for a special engagement from April 8 through
May 8, 2005. The exhibit, which features the science we
find in everyday toys, is one of the most popular traveling
exhibits ever designed by
the
California
Science
Center. Following Science in Toyland, we will be hosting
Robots+
Us, a traveling exhibit from the Science Museum
of Minnesota. It offers an interactive look at how biology
and engineering are coming together to create robots that
were
once only
science fiction!
