BODY WORLDS 2 Closes at the California Science Center

Concluding its run at its first venue in the Western Hemisphere, BODY WORLDS 2: The Anatomical Exhibition of Real Human Bodies closed in the early morning hours of Monday, March 28, 2005. The combined total of guests for BODY WORLDS and BODY WORLDS 2 exceeded 930,000 guests, making this exhibit pair the most successful traveling exhibits ever displayed at the Science Center. During the exhibit run, the Science Center hosted its 10 millionth visitor since opening in 1998—another landmark achievement.

Our next traveling exhibit, Science in Toyland, will be on display for a special engagement from April 8 through May 8, 2005. The exhibit, which features the science we find in everyday toys, is one of the most popular traveling exhibits ever designed by the California Science Center. Following Science in Toyland, we will be hosting Robots+ Us, a traveling exhibit from the Science Museum of Minnesota. It offers an interactive look at how biology and engineering are coming together to create robots that were once only science fiction!

Stay tuned to www.californiasciencecenter.org to keep up to date on upcoming Science Center events and happenings.
