The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the theft of a plastinated 13-week-old fetus, from Gunther von Hagens’ BODY WORLDS 2:The Anatomical Exhibition of Real Human Bodies at the California Science Center, on March 26, 2005.

Detectives have released composite sketches of two female suspects, who were described by a witness to the theft. Detectives also released a photograph of a suspicious note  left in a guest book at the exhibit.
