On March 29-30 and April 5-6, 2008, the California Science Center will celebrate NanoDays with exciting hands-on educational activities to help raise public awareness of nanoscale science and engineering.

Take part in NanoDays activities to learn about the world of the very small.

Also make sure to catch a preview of Nanotechnology: The Power of Small a new public television series. John Hockenberry, public radio news anchor and former NBC News Correspondent, moderates a lively discussion with policymakers, scientists, journalists and community leaders as the explore the promises and problems of nanotechnology.

Nanotechnology: The Power of Small will be airing locally on the PBS television station KLCS on the following dates and times:

  • Monday, April 7 @ 8 p.m.
    Privacy: Safer societies or no more secrets?
  • Monday, April 14 @ 8 p.m.
    Health: Longer lives? but who decides?
  • Monday, April 21 @ 8 p.m.
    Environment: Cleaner world or potential pollution
