On Friday, May 18, 2012 the California Science Center will celebrate its 14th Annual Discovery Ball with a gala fit for a queen. The evening will showcase the west coast premiere of Cleopatra: The Exhibition.

The Discovery Ball will feature a fabulous cocktail reception, elegant seated dinner with entertainment and live auction, and dancing and drinks in a night club worth staying for—all set amidst the allure and the intrigue of the world of Cleopatra.

The Science Center's annual black-tie gala has steadily gained prominence and respect over its 13-year history, attracting an average of 750 guests comprising community and business leaders and elected officials at local, state and federal levels. The event has been dubbed "a virtual who's who of the Los Angeles business community" by the Los Angeles Business Journal and named among Southern California's Top 100 Events by BizBash, moving up the rankings from 13th to 4th to 3rd in the Benefits category.

Building on this stellar reputation, the groundwork is laid for the 14th Annual Discovery Ball to be another major success. Individual tickets are $1,000 and table prices range from $10,000 to $50,000. Information on table levels and benefits will be posted as it's available.
