Keith Esparros

Assistant News Director, NBC4

BA, Communications, Loyola University, New Orleans, 1981

Mr. Esparros joined the NBC Universal’s owned and operated station in Los Angeles as Managing Editor in April 2004 and was promoted to Assistant News Director a year later. He came to KNBC from WVUE-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he was the Vice President and News Director for the Fox affiliate since 1997. From 1994-1997, Mr. Esparros was an Executive Producer for KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), managing daily coverage for the station’s prime-time newscasts. Before that he was a Producer for KTTV-TV’s (Los Angeles) "Fox Morning News." He also served as an Assistant News Director at KNSD-TV (NBC- San Diego) from 1991-1993 and as an Executive Producer at WWL-TV (CBS-New Orleans) from 1980-1991. Mr. Esparros received numerous awards, including Emmys, Golden Mikes and Press Clubs in both Los Angeles and New Orleans.
