All participants are asked to read a selection from Plato's classic work Phaedo before attending the Art & Science Seminar for Defining Life and Death. The reading is offered here for free download in PDF format. Also included in the PDF is a brief introduction from our seminar facilitator, Tom Simpson, Ph.D.

While we encourage you to read all of Phaedo, only pages 22-44 of this PDF are required for the seminar discussion.
