Marsha Stanton Ph.D., R.N.

Dr. Stanton is a registered nurse with a Ph.D. in Health Education and Administration Services. She previously served as the Deputy Executive Director for the American Academy of Pain Management. She is nationally known for her work in the area of pain management and has published and presented in this field for numerous years. She is past President of the American Society for Pain Management Nursing and has served in other leadership capacities with the American Society for Pain Educators, the American Society for Pain Management Nursing, Intermountain Pain Management Nurses, American Academy of Pain Management, Pain Management Education Consultants, the American Pain Society, the International Society for the Study of Pain and other pain related organizations. In 2006 she received the Distinguished Service Award from the American Society for Pain Management Nursing.
